Introduction to Line Dancing
Instructor: Marilyn McNeal
This class introduces you to Line Dance steps, patterns and easy dances. Step patterns are described, practiced and used in easy, fun dances. Step sheets of each dance are also provided so you can practice at home. This is an eight week class.

In Recognition of Diabetes Month: Diabetes Self Management Workshop
Instructed by: Betty Flagg, Administrator, Elder Options.
This is a 6 week course, every Friday.
This evidence based workshop developed by Stanford University will give you practical ways to deal with diabetes: discover better nutrition and exercise; techniques to deal with symptoms such as hyper/hypoglycemia, pain, emotional problems and appropriate use of medication.

Join Isabel to learn a gentle form of yoga that is practical sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. The benefits of yoga include improved strength, improved flexibility and reduced stress and improved mental clarity.

This program will provide an overview of the American Diabetes Association’s Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes , which include guidelines for diagnosis, treatment goals, assessment of glycemic control, medical nutrition therapy and physical activity, and prevention and management of diabetes complications.
