MATTER OF BALANCE WORKSHOP
Presented by: Adam J. Hunt, DrPH, MBA, Injury Prevention Coordinator at Ocala Health and Lea Caruso, Clinic Operations Manager for Strive Health and Rehabilitation.

An 8 week structured group that emphasizes practical strategies to learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals to increase activity, change the environment to reduce risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance.

Class size is limited.

This is a class that offers techniques of stabilization and how to reactivate muscles that have not been used with simple techniques that will improve not only cognitive response to the brain and muscle but also stabilization and balance.
